Salam & welcome, beautiful.
Maryam here! I’m so happy to have you here :D #camelsmiles
Life is such a roller coaster, isn’t it?
One day you feel like you’ve got this, but the next day, you just want to run away from it all!
One day you’re overwhelmed by all of life’s blessings, but the next day, you cry yourself to sleep.
One day you’re ready to give it your best shot, but the next day, you don’t feel like adulting.
*insert long, deep sigh*… It really is a roller coaster.
I hear you, and I want to meet you right where you are - whether you’re flourishing or not-yet-flourishing - because I know exactly what it feels like to feel lost or hopeless sometimes.
Or to not be in a good place.
Or to feel ’not good enough’.
I’ve been there more times than I’d like to admit.
And I want you to know that you’ve come to the right place.
Sisters Flourish is a safe space where you will learn to go through (and grow through) life with positivity and intentionality, so that you can show up in the world as the best version of yourself, bi idhnillah.
I’ll be sharing my best tools and resources based on positive psychology and teachings of islam to help you go (and grow) from where you are now to where you want to be inshaAllah.
I’m that girl who's a minimalist at heart.
I daydream about Jannah a lot *^.^* and I use du’a as my secret weapon.
I’m trying and striving to become a better version of myself everyday.
Most of all, I’m just like you - perfectly imperfect.
This quote beautifully explains who I am and what I teach:
I’m all about positivity and intentionality.
Yes, I say I’m all about positivity, but no, this doesn’t mean I don’t acknowledge the huge bumps and roadblocks that come up on this journey called life.
I know pain.
I know anxiety and depression.
I know loss and suffering.
I also know... that the issue is not the pain or depression or suffering, but the issue is how I cope with the pain or depression or suffering.
Because I know the dark clouds that control me when I choose to see world through the lens of pain, depression, and suffering. And those clouds aren’t pretty.
Instead, I choose to cope with positivity in one hand and intentionality in the other.
I invite you to do the same.
Let’s go on this growth journey together.
May we grow.
May we live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
May we flourish!
